We have carried other Ortlieb dry bags for a long time but this Ortlieb PS 490 Drybag 59 Liter Heavy Duty smaller cylinder style K5602 is one we brought in recently. It is a foot in diameter and about 27″ tall when rolled down & sealed. It has a five year warranty, and features a welded, double-stitched handle.

Far Higher Quality – Ortlieb PS 490 Drybag 59 Liter Heavy Duty

Ortlieb’s PS-490 series lock-top bags are far higher quality, with a much better strength-to-weight ratio than any cylinder style bag from any other manufacturer. This should last most boaters a lifetime. For now we are only carrying this 59 liter size, though if these sell well we may bring in larger or smaller volume versions. This bag is mostly black, with a red panel on the front. The black bottom and red front are European pvc with boat-grade base fabric, and the black portion of the main body is beefy cordura.
